Laurel - Frederick Eugene Wanner was born on Dec. 3, 1937, in Gladstone, North Dakota. He died on Feb. 26, 2017, in Billings.
He is survived by his two sons Ricky (Marcia) Wanner and Fredrick (Lisa) Wanner as well as his daughters Peggy ( Stephen) Schreiner, Vickey (Justin) Anderson and Tammy (Corey ) Vogel. He is also survived by his four sisters, Janet (Ken) Burke, Donna Denney, Sandra Shepherd and Lenora Schmidt as well as his brother Marvin Wanner. He has nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He served in the U.S. Navy and worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad for many years. He loved being outside just soaking up the sunshine. He tended his little garden and watched the birds and rabbits in his yard. The time he spent with his family was what meant the most to him. He was a loving father and grandfather.
He will be deeply missed. We love you Dad.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, March 3, at Smith Chapel in Laurel.
