HAZEL WINSLETT GILBERT

GILBERT, HAZEL WINSLETT, age 85, of Hueytown, AL, passed away on July 2, 2010. She was a member of Valley Creek Baptist Church. Survivors are husband of 64 years, Marshall O. Gilbert; daughter, Marsha G. Franklin (Benny); son, Ron Gilbert (Lisa); 4 grandchildren, Johnny Franklin, Gina Bigham, Jackie Malone, and Jessica Gilbert; 6 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Charles Winslett, Donald Winslett, David Winslett, and Wayne Winslett. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Peoples Chapel Funeral Home, Hueytown. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, July 5, 2010 from 5 until 7 p.m. Burial will be in Valley Creek Cemetery. Rev. Kevin Blackwell officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Valley Creek Baptist Church, Hueytown.
