Billy McCoy Obituary
Graveside services were held Thursday, April 15, at 1 p.m. in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation was held Wednesday, April 14, 2010 from 5 p.m. till 7 p.m. in the chapel at Hart's Mortuary in Macon.
Born in Bulloch County, he was the son of the late Alton Lawrence McCoy and Mary Louise Davis McCoy. He was the husband of the late Georgene Walden McCoy. He was a foreman for Eastside Lumber Company where he was employed for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Donnie McCoy of Pembroke.
He is survived by his children, Tammy Brookins (Steve) of Macon; Shannon McCoy (Heather) of Macon, Tonya Kitchens (Steve) of Greensboro, N.C.; Sonya Miller (Bobby) of Macon; Charlie Blevins (William) of Greensboro, N.C.; Natasha Crawford (Michael) of Columbia, S.C.; 14 Grandchildren; 3 great Grandchildren; brothers, Bobby McCoy of Bellville, Ricky McCoy of Pembroke, and Terry McCoy of Pembroke; and sisters, Patty Lanier of Pembroke, Annette Bacon of Pembroke, and Ruth Robinson of Blackshear.
