Vera O'Hartz Obituary

Vera Irene O'Hartz
age 85, of North Canton, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009. She was born on May 7, 1924, in Malvern, to the late Fremont and Kathyrn Summers. Irene was a 1942 graduate of Malvern High School. She retired in 1985 from the Stark County Health Department after 38 years of service as an Administrative Assistant. Irene was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Lester, Ross and Walter Summers; and sister, Alice Smith. Irene is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Charles H. O'Hartz of North Canton; son, Charles (Susan) O'Hartz of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Rose Blair of Denver, CO; twin sister, Ilene Smith of St. James City, FL; sister, Rosa Cotton of Minerva; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, Oct. 12, 2009 at 1 p.m. in Bethlehem Cemetery in Malvern with Pastor Darla Ann Kratzer officiating.
