Shirley Kendall Obituary

Shirley "Squirrely Shirley" June Kendall (nee Brown), 79 of Westminster, MD passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family and friends She was the loving wife of Bryan Kendall for 24 years. She was born November 4, 1942, in Dayton, MD the daughter of the late Kenny Brown and the late Charlotte Brown (nee Patterson). Shirley worked many years as a Bartender/cook at the Rewst in Taylorsville, MD. Shirley had an infectious personality and knack for making friends, that will be truly missed by all her friends and family. She enjoyed reading and watching old westerns. Surviving in addition to her husband are her children Lori Wood, George Smith, Melissa Miller. She was the grandmother of Tiffany Flickenger and Cathy Smith and great-grandmother of Zane Smith and Georgia Flickenger. Also survived by her brother Edward Brown and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her siblings Ronnie Brown and sister Patsy Metzger. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Winfield Community Fire Company 1320 W Old Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784 Arrangements by Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A.
