Janet Marie Sauers

Janet Marie Sauers August 27, 1955-July 26, 2006 Janet Marie Sauers, 50, died Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born August 27, 1955, in Bellefonte, she was a daughter of Helen Marie Sunday Sauers of State College and the late Leroy Linwood Sauers, Sr. She graduated from State College Area High School. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. She enjoyed needlepoint. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Lee Sauers of State College, a sister, Mary Ann Clouser and her husband, Clyde, of State College, three brothers, Richard Eugene Sauers and his wife, Barbara, of Boalsburg, Leroy Linwood Sauers, Jr., of Lemont, and Theodore James Sauers of State College, and several nieces and nephews. Along with her father, she was predeceased by a brother, Ernest "Chick" Sauers on Aug. 31, 2004. Visitation will be on Tuesday, Aug. 1, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home, with the Rev. Eric J. Shafer officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hall Cemetery.
