I am so sorry to learn of Kit's passing. He was a trusted advisor and friend to my parents, who met him when they lived in Moncks Corner. As they moved away and got older, he and I worked together to assist them with their financial affairs. I liked Kit and trusted him completely, he was a kind, genuine, caring person.
My deepest sympathy to Kit's family.

I am very sorry to hear of Kit's passing. I met Kit when we were both at The University of South Carolina. I am from Moncks Corner and I saw him frequently the years after we graduated. He was always very kind and friendly. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time.

Kit was such a wonderful friend and mentor.I met him back in 2005 when I retired, and immediately realized that he was a very trustworthy man who loved God.He always complimented me in saying that he thought of me as a sister he never had.I will miss our great conversations about his children whom he dearly loved. It was a pleasure knowing him and will surely be missed. God be with the family.Jody Riles

Ryan,
I don't think that we've ever met, but we are cousins. Your Grandfather (Uncle Dodo) was the youngest brother of my grandfather (Kenyon Minus Kirby). I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad and my thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time.

Sorry to hear about Kit. I met him when he worked in Moncks Corner which must have been in the early 1980's and enjoyed talking with him. We never figured out if we might have been distant kin. I am again sorry for your loss.
