Joyce Faye Coombs Davidson HUNTERSVILLE - Mrs. Joyce Faye Coombs Davidson, 71, of Huntersville, NC died Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 3, 1942 in Jones County NC. She was the daughter of the late Paul Coombs and Florence Nobles Coombs. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. A celebration of her life will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2013 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 at the funeral home. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 54 years, James R. Davidson; daughter, Jan Davidson of Cornelius; sons, Jay Davidson of Huntersville, Jeff Davidson of Charleston, SC; six grandchildren, Ashley, Joey and Connor Noone, Hayden, Savannah and Emma Grace Davidson; sister, Carol Metts and husband Jack of Raleigh and brothers, Gene and Bobby Coombs of Kinston, NC.
