Nelson Royal Obituary
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Shearer Presbyterian Church with Rev. Lonnie Barnes, Rev. Jeff Maynard, and Rev. Wayne Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Neill Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday evening.
Surviving are his first wife, Laura Combs; his second wife, Karen L. Royal; sons, David Royal and wife, Alison and Devin Royal, all of Mooresville and Robert Lloyd and wife, Jonna of Statesville; daughter, Shannon McCrary and husband, Greg of Hendersonville; and grandchildren, Tanner Lloyd and Trey Lloyd, both of Statesville, Chase Royal of Mooresville and Terran McCrary and Tristan McCrary, both of Hendersonville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mooresville Bible Teachers Association (MBTA) P.O. Box 1091, Mooresville, NC 28115.
Neill Funeral Home is serving the Nelson Family.
