Chris Neuman, 54, of Lake Forest, died March 2, 2009. Chris was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Lake Forest and participated as a Chalice Bearer, Usher, Lay Reader, Church School Teacher, Confirmation Leader, Spring Fair Chairperson and also participated in the church Stewardship Committee, Spring Fair Committee, the Alpha Program and the Vestry. While working for Kansas State University, she was a member of NATA (National Athletic Trainers' Association), a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a BS in Physical Education and a Masters in Education. Chris was a member of Theta Sorority and involved with the World Games for the Deaf. Chris worked as the Executive Vice President for Cardinal Healthcare, Baxter Healthcare and American Hospital Supply for over 25 years. Wife of John Affourtit; mother of John Thomas, Margot Katharine and Michael Daniel; daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Neuman; sister of Katharine Allison (Terry) McHale, Robert Anderson Neuman, Jr., Mary Courtney (Tom) Schwetde. Memorial Visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2009, at The Church of the Holy Spirit, 400 E. Westminster Rd., Lake Forest, IL 60045.
