William G. Roberts, beloved husband of Alveyn N. Roberts, nee Wells; loving father of Jan Roberts Stickel, Joy N. (Tim) Eggert and Scott W. Roberts; devoted grandfather of Sarah, Anna and Daniel Stickel, Christopher, Melissa and Matthew Eggert; dear son of the late Emily and the late Thomas Roberts; cherished brother of Betty Ries, Lucille Weaver and the late Herbert "Bo" Roberts; many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday 3 to 8 p.m. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd., at Northwest Hwy., Mt. Prospect. Lying in State Monday 10 a.m. until Services 11 a.m. at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 200 S. Wille St., Mt. Prospect, IL 60056 . Interment Mt. Emblem. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Mark Lutheran Church or the Respiratory Health Assn.
