Elizabeth Taylor Obituary

ELIZABETH ANN TAYLOR

Elizabeth Ann Taylor, age 68, born Feb. 4, 1939, in Sacramento, Calif., died July 13, 2007, in St. George, Utah after a long fight with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Wes Taylor, her sons, Mark Taylor and Blaine Taylor; daughter, Kelly Taylor; sisters, Judy Suter and Janet Stickler; brother, Leonard Stickler; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was a loving mother, homemaker, and devoted wife for fifty years. A graduate of the University of California, Chico, she earned her teaching credential and taught for 21 years for the Live Oak, California School District. Her dedication and enthusiasm towards education will long be remembered by students and faculty. She was an accomplished golfer, winning many awards, including the City Championship in St. George, UT in 2006; her second love was playing bridge. The world was a joyous place to her and will be far lonelier without her. The family wishes that any donations be made to cancer research.

I Love you Mom and forgive you for anything you think you might have done that would affect me poorly. You were the Greatest mother a person could have and I will miss your laughter the rest of my days.
Love, Mark

Mrs. Taylor was my 5th grade teacher in Live Oak. I have fond memories of my time spent in class with "Mrs. T". She will be missed.
