Florence Dalrymple Obituary

OSAGE CITY- Florence Marie Dalrymple, 94, formerly of Osage City, passed away Friday August 3, 2007, at the home of her daughter in Topeka. She was born August 14, 1912, in Billings, Oklahoma, the daughter of Herbert and Lida Marie Rishton McMullen. She spent her early life in Oklahoma. Florence and her husband owned and operated Osage Radio and Television in Osage City. They had moved to Osage City in 1951. Florence was a member of the United Methodist Church in Osage City. She married Floyd J. Dalrymple on March 25, 1931 at Hunter, Oklahoma. He died January 13, 1993. She was also preceded in death by a son, Floyd E. Dalrymple, one sister and four brothers. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Greenwood, Lawrence, Sharon Kibbe, Topeka; one son, Larry Dalrymple, Eudora; one sister, Alice Yandall, Dallas, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Service will be at 11:00am, Tuesday, August 7, at the United Methodist Church in Osage City. Interment will follow at Osage City Cemetery. She will lie in state an hour before service time at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to the United Methodist Church elevator-Accessible Fund or Midland Hospice sent in care of VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, 107 N. 6th Osage City, KS, 66523.
