SO SORRY to read of Marshall's passing. I was a friend of his at Marist and recently thought of him. We were project partners on a project in Col Van Houten class and spent a few afternoons in the gym assisting each other on the weight equipment and comparing our new chest hairs....Neither were much for weight lifting however. Was just a reason to share time together and talk. He was a very nice, smart and funny young man and a pleasure to have known in my youth to help navigate high school life without judgement. After reading of his passing I had to find my yearbook and look up his picture to reinforce my memories. :)

Marshall has been my best friend since 1986 when I first met him. I have looked up to him for family and career advice ever since. I cannot express how much I will miss him.

Marshall was the tire of neighbor you wish for, as he was not only his family's answer man, he was often mine as well. He gained several appliances from me. I would be opening the trash bin ready to dump another "broken" appliance away and Marshall would take it back to his magic shop and appears a couple days later using my "broken" tool. We never really talked about these tools but secretly I would hope they really were broken only to be proven wrong over and over. When I had double bypass surgery, Marshall asked if I wanted to stay at his Beach house. That is just who Marshall was. I indulged and it was quite a gift. The only thing I did not necessarily like about Marshall was his incredible mobility and tenacity on a tennis court. A hard man to beat that just kept getting better. I am glad I had you as a neighbor and friend.

We can't think of a better way to describe Marshall...a beautiful spirit, kind heart and love for his family. A great guy, that could do or fix anything, and always willing to give a helping hand. Marshall will be truly missed. Kathleen, Elaine, James and Spot are in our thoughts and prayers.

Marshall was a dear friend with a beautiful spirit, kind heart, and love of family. We remember him sharing his stories of spending summers with his grandparents and how much he loved that that time with them. We also loved watching him with Elaine, James, and Kathleen...such a loving
father and husband. We’ll miss his silliness too...we have a few
memories that still make us laugh and we’ll talk about forever. We are so grateful to have known him...he will be deeply missed.
