Armando Cabrera-Lara

Armando Cabrera-Lara, loving father, ambitious gardener, and compassionate friend, passed away on May 26, 2023, in Hot Springs.

Born on April 17, 1963, in Pénjamo, Guanajuato, Mexico, Armando was known for his humble nature and dedication to his family. He touched the lives of many through his unwavering love and support for those around him.

Armando found immense joy tending to his vegetable and flower gardens, showcasing his talent and passion for nurturing life in the soil. His green thumb brought color and happiness to the lives of those who had the pleasure of experiencing his gardens. His love for family knew no bounds. Armando's devotion to his mother, Consuelo Lara, and his sons, Armando Cabrera and Olincer Cabrera, made it evident that his family was the most important aspect of his life. Through his unyielding love, he built a strong foundation for his family that will continue to grow for generations to come.

Armando is survived by his mother, Consuelo Lara; his sons, Armando Cabrera and Olincer Cabrera; and his brothers, Ignacio Cabrera and Saul Cabrera. He is preceded in death by his father, Luis Cabrera. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at 6 p.m. at Humphrey Funeral Service, located at 2801 West Main Street, Russellville, AR, 72801. A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Humphrey Funeral Service, followed by the burial at Center Valley Memorial Gardens, located at 2601 Center Valley Road, Russellville, AR, 72802.
