Jane Johnson Obituary
Evansville, Ind.
Jane L. Johnson, 65, of Indianapolis, passed away December 29, 2013.
She was born November 27, 1948 in Evansville, IN, to the late Norman and Louise Haller Krauss. Jane was a graduate of Wm. Henry Harrison High School in Evansville, Class of 1966, and attended Deaconess School of Nursing. She married Gary L. Johnson, May 23, 1970, and he preceded her in death May 23, 2012. Jane was owner of Jane's Bridal and Tux on East Washington St. in Indianapolis for 17 years, retiring in 2010.
Jane is survived by her loving children, Jennifer L. Gray (Chris) and Brent A. Johnson; five grandchildren, Kyra, Max, Madyson, Kate and Cole; brother, Dr. Norman O. Krauss, Jr. (Connie); and a sister, Karen K. Clayton (Woody).
Visitation will be Friday, January 3, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St., with funeral services Saturday at 10:00 a.m.

Jane decorated a beautiful wedding for us that we will remember for ever.I will miss our conversations and yes that laugh..Oh did I mention she even made me cry at Tax time on occasion.lol She will be truly missed. Claude,Kim,Marissa

I went to High School with Jane and we worked at Fiscal Tax together. Such a great lady. She will be missed. Condolences to the family.

Jane was always the dearest of people. We were neighbors for 14 years in Indy. Her laughter and smile will always be a memory for me when thinking about her. She and Gary were wonderful to have as neighbors in so many ways. Her presence will be greatly missed but Heaven has gained a true angel.
