Patrick Jacobs Obituary

Our beloved Patrick or "Pat" Jacobs died peacefully at home from cancer. He was a native son of Phillipsburg, Kansas and a star athlete as a pitcher, quarterback and basketball player. Excelling in academics, he was the valedictorian of his class receiving scholarships to study mathematics and majoring in electrical engineering at Kansas State. He received a Masters degree in nuclear engineering and worked as a consultant. Later in life, he integrated health, neurofeedback, Heartmath, psychology, and spiritual guidance. Love of nature was prominent: he was a Boy Scout and an Eagle Scout, fished with his uncle and brother, learned to garden from his grandmother, became an herbalist and hot-spring enthusiast. His gypsy soul loved music, played the guitar, and enjoyed celebrating with family and friends. He will be remembered most for his friendship, good humor, insightful and learned mind, and heart of gold. He is dearly loved and missed by his brother, Mike, his sister, Mary, partner, Paula and many more. A celebration of his life will be held December 18th at 1pm at the Diamond Heart School in Boulder. Donations to the Humane Society encouraged.
