Lois Harrison Obituary

Lois M. Croll Cristler Harrison passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 20th, 2022 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's. Lois was born August 12, 1941 to August and Mary Croll of Zamora. She attended Zamora Union School and graduated from Woodland High School in 1959. She received an Associates of Science degree from American River College later in life and started her career as a book keeper retiring in 2016. She married Michael Cristler in 1959 they raised their family in Esparto. Lois was a stay at home mom until her youngest child started school. She was active in many of her children's childhood activities including Cub Scouts and 4-H. Lois was a lover of Border Collies, an avid reader, and church volunteer serving as the organist for St Angus Catholic Church in Zamora for many years. Lois is preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Kathryn Cristler, husbands Michael Cristler and David Harrison, brothers, James Croll, August Croll Jr., and granddaughter Ashley Cristler.She is survived by her sisters, Dawn Goodall, Kay Carter (Bill), Sister- in- laws, Marylin Croll, Janice Croll, children, Michael (Roberta) Cristler, Hattie (Joe) Souza, Joseph (Becki) Cristler, Antony (Susan) Cristler and Annie (Richard) Doyle, grandchildren, Sterling Cristler, David (Hailey) Cristler, Cole Souza, Bridget Souza, Bradley (Ashley) Cristler, Anastasia (Nic) Selover, Shane Dolye, great-grandchildren: Rembrandt Cristler, Clementine Cristler, Augustus Selover, Riley Selover, and Hesston Cristler. She is also survived by a large extended family and her beloved Border Collie Lilly.There will be a viewing at McNarys Mortuary in Woodland on January 5th starting at 5pm with Rosary to follow at 6:30.Funeral Mass will be held at St Angus Catholic Church in Zamora January 6th at 11am with burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Yolo. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions, Inc. P.O.
