Susie and I worked together for many years at the CA Department of Education. She was one of the most thoughtful and kind people I have been lucky enough to know and call my friend. She was also so much fun to travel with, and we did a lot of that during our many years working together. She will definitely not be forgotten and will be missed greatly.

My sister-in-law Susie was a loving and caring wife and mother who loved to cook and play piano. When her children were grown she found time to enjoy life, work for the government, and be a wonderful companion for my brother. Susie is gone but not forgotten.

Susie has been a part of our family for almost 50 years. Married to Richard, she built a family with him and kept the home fires burning when he worked away from home, while tending to her own career. She was a great partner for Richard and a wonderful mother. I will always appreciate her welcoming Dianna into our family with openness and kindness. She will be missed. Love and cheers, Charlie

Susie was a wonderful friend. So many months between the times we could spend together just faded away when we met again -- like it was yesterday. A wry wit and a loving heart, talented with her crafts, her heart was always open to me. I miss you dear sister. Susie's sister-in-law, Dianna
