I first met Rick in the Fall of 1979 as a freshman wrestler at West Chicago High School. He was a true "Wildcat"-a fighter. As his coach I could always count on him to be at practice and at meets, giving his best effort. As I continued to coach I knew him as an outstanding wrestling official. I will miss him greatly, especially during the HS state series and the NCAA wrestling meets. His ability and willingness to fight through adversity served him well throughout his life. Kim,Brittany, and Kelsey-may God grant you peace and comfort in your many fond memories of him as an outstanding husband and father. We will ALL miss him greatly! Sincerely "Coach"

Georgia and Jack Leese extend our deepest, heartfelt sympathy especially to Kim, Brittany, and Kelsey, on the passing of our friend Rick Belle. Truly, Rick was first a loving family man, a successful self employed businessman, as well as being an avid sportsman. Regarding the latter, he was an outstanding wrestling referee, and was extremely fond of both the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. While time will help to heal the wounds of his passing, which he fought to the end, the memories of him will last forever. His smile, friendliness, and kindness brought sunshine into the lives of many. Yes, Rick Belle will be missed!

Kim, Brittany, & Kelsey,
This is such sad news and I can't believe Rick is gone. His smiling face and upbeat attitude was ever-present and contagious. Always generous with his time and talents, I remember the posters he helped us make in Girl Scouts, and the medals he made for our Christmas drawing contests. If there's anything you need, please let us know. You are in our prayers...
