Scott will always be remembered, as a man with a great deal of integrity. He was always a loyal friend. We pray his family will always know the incredable impact he has had on all the lives he has touched with his joyful laugh and special way he connected with everyone he met. Scott was as brave and courageous as one could be, maintaining his positive outlook while being thrown such a huge curveball, was a true inspiration. Kim and the children now have their #1 angel in place, your husband and father was a special man. He will be missed forever, especially on the golf course to me. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
God Bless.

And some day in the midst of time, when they ask me if I knew you, I’d smile and say you were a friend of mine. Then the sadness would be lifted from my eyes, because only time moves on to the next scene. Memory remains part of the heart forever. I will miss you Scott.

Dear Farinelli Family,
Our deepest sympathies go out to the entire Farinelli family; this truly is a sad day to hear of the passing of such a great man. Scotty (Fridge) was good ballplayer, great teammate (friend), and even better family man. Even though I never had the good fortune of meeting them he always had a gleam in his eye when he spoke of Kim and the kids. Although it's been awhile and the years we played together were too few & infrequent the fond memories we have of Scotty will live on in all our hearts that he touched!!
May God Bless you all,
John Fraser

Scott was a wonderful person to work with. He was always smiling, friendly and willing to take on anything. He had the best sense of humor and he worked hard at his job. He will be greatly missed. There is a void here at Itasca Bank that can never be filled, because there is only one Scott. I will miss my co worker and friend so very much. My prayers are with his family and I pray for their strength of what they have been through and what the days ahead will hold. God Bless.

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

There is not enough space here to write about all of the great memories I have of Scott. I have known him since he was 16 yrs old when we hired him at The Bank Of Commerce in Berkeley.
Throughout the years,we played softball on many teams together, bowled, golfed, attended each others wedding and worked together again at Itasca Bank & Trust Co.
I am proud to say he is a great friend and a terrific person. The world was certainly a better place with him.
It is so hard to say good bye. Words cannot express how much you were and still are loved.
You will be missed by all.
