Mr. Eddie B. Stowers Sr.

TALLADEGA - Memorial Service for Eddie B. Stowers Sr., 81, will be 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 1, at Mount Canaan Missionary Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will be Monday, Sept. 6, at Magnolia Baptist Church, Belton, Texas. Interment will follow at the Texas State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary will direct the Memorial Service. Mr. Stowers passed away Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at Citizens Baptist Medical Center, Talladega. He was preceded in death by his father, Julius Stowers; mother, Callie Stowers Ellis; and stepfather, Jab Ellis. Survivors are his wife, Flora Stowers; daughters, Sherry Stowers, Callieani Stowers, Melinda Cole, and Dessa Stowers; sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie Jr. and Belva Stowers, Ranaldo and Sharon Stowers, Rodney and Candace Stowers, Vincent Stowers, Jerry and Tammy Stowers, Ivory Stowers, Craig and Deniell Stowers, Dexter and Glynda Stowers and Jerome Stowers; 20 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mount Canaan Baptist Church Building Fund, 124 W.
