Nola Thomas Obituary

Funeral service for Ms. Nola Mae McGhee Thomas, 81, will be held on Saturday, at Rising Star Baptist Church, in Sylacauga, at 1pm with the Rev. Manuel Smith officiating the service. Burial will be held in the church cemetery. Ms. Thomas departed her life on November 11, at Coosa Valley Medical Center, in Sylacauga. She is survived by three daughters, Anita Averette of Sylacauga, Lorna Thomas of Birmingham; Cecellia Thomas of Chicago, IL; three sons, Billy R. Thomas, Kimwana Thomas both of Sylacauga; Arness Thomas of Baton Rouge; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday from 12noon until 8pm at Community Funeral Home. Community Funeral Home will direct the service.
