Ruth Russell

WILLIAMSBURG - Ruth Russell, 72, passed away September 21, 2015. She is preceded in death by her brother Charles Byrd. Ruth is survived by her husband of 55 years, Larry K. Russell; daughters, Rhonda Russell, Rachel Sinks (Michael), Rebecca White (Colby); siblings, Betty Powers, John Byrd, Ella Jones, Rosa Edge, Neil "Bud" Byrd, Yates Byrd, Cecil Byrd; grandchildren, Jessica Flatter, Alan Sinks, Colby and Cara White; great grandchildren, Addison and Easton Flatter and Aidan Sinks. Ruth retired from State Farm Insurance and was a former youth director at Grace Baptist Church, where she was a lifelong member. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm - 2:00pm Friday, September 25, 2015 at Grace Baptist Church, 1013 Penniman Rd. Williamsburg, VA 23185, where a service will follow at 2:00pm. Interment will take place Saturday,2:00pm, September 26, 2015, at Tolarsville Baptist Church Cemetery, N.C.
