Charles Pierson Obituary
Perinton - Charles William (Bill) Pierson. Died January 29, 2019 at age 91 years, 11 months. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 52+ years, Virginia (Cole). Survived by his son Douglas (Virna), his daughter Lisa (Thomas) Bork, his grandchildren, Adam, Chelsea, and Ian, his sister Shirley Killian, his brother Robert (JoAnn), nieces, nephews, and his girlfriend of three happy years, Nancy Dean. A devoted and very much present and involved family man, Bill also worked in engineering at Eastman Kodak for over thirty years. In retirement, he found a passion for air flight, first learning to fly glider planes, and then obtaining his private pilot's license and flying his Cessna C-150. In later years, he built and flew model airplanes. Bill always enjoyed a good conversation, traveling, and learning new things. Almost never without a camera (a true Kodak moments man), he leaves behind ample documentation of a life well-lived and enjoyed with family and friends. He will remain cherished in our hearts and thoughts forever.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 10:30 AM in the All Season's Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Perinton Volunteer Ambulance or to the Highland Hospital Foundation.
