James Temple Obituary
Wolcott: Age 61 on Thursday June 29th, at the Syracuse V.A. Medical Center following an extended illness. Jim was a decorated combat Marine who had served in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife Darlene; son Jesse; siblings Gerald (Sandy) Hough, Shirley (Jack) Salmonsen, Sandra Clary, Jakelyn (Mike) Pickard and Kathleen Pickard; many nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his parents Jake and Sarah Ostrander Temple; brothers Charles, Eugene, Donald Hough, and Roger Temple.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday July 10th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the NORTON FUNERAL HOME, 5925 New Hartford St, Wolcott. Funeral services for Jim will be Monday, July 11th, 2 p.m. from the funeral home. Interment with Military Honors will be at the Hannibal Center Cemetery. So sorry to hear of your loss...My Family is indebted to all Veterans and wish to express our THANKS to him for his valor & service. I am (was) a Paratrooper (Army), my heart goes out to you folks. I'm saying a prayer dedicated to James and his reunion with his fellow Marines & Family that have gone on ahead! Semper Fi!!!!
