My wife and I were neighbors to Ola and Dan in the Adagio apartments. We would sit on the porch talking about everything under the sun. Then, when it got too cold, she'd invite us in and we'd watch Lonesome Dove. Those were good times! Ola had a natural goodness to her and we think about her often.

We haven't seen or spent time with Aunt Ola in years, you think you will always have time. She was so fun to be around, funny, sassy, her laugh, and she was always so welcoming. One of Shawn's favorite memories was when he was in sixth grade he was attending his first school dance, and she was teaching him how to dance. He never learned, but he remembers her dancing and thinking how cool she was!
Sending our love and prayers to our cousins, and the rest of the family. We will miss her, and will cherish our memories.

I give my deepest sympathy to Ola's kids and family. Ola and Dan were second parents to me when Dale and I were very young and best of friends in the 70's. She watched out for me and took me in as one of her own, I will never forget her. God Bless.
