A. Miller Obituary
Omaha
Florene, age 86, passed away December 15, 2011 in Omaha, Nebraska. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 20 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1230 Merle Hay Road, Des Moines, of which she was a member from 1957 to 2007 when she moved to Omaha. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, December 19 at Caldwell-Raddatz Funeral Home, 8201 Hickman Road, Urbandale. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.
Florene was born on January 21, 1925 in Madison County, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Elmer E. Miller on April 23, 1949. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and knitting.
Florene's memory will be cherished by her 3 children, Alissa Miller, Thomas Miller (Deb Jacobs) and Denise Miller-Dolan (Glenn Summers); two grandchildren, Stephanie (Trevor) Rasmussen and Megan Dolan; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Jack and Richard Cain; sister, Therese (Cain) Foote; more than 40 nieces and nephews; and many great friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband in 1967.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be directed to St. Jude's Research Hospital. Condolences may be directed to caldwellraddatz.com
