James Casey Obituary

James N. Casey, 91, a retired aircraft mechanic, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2006.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Merriman Baptist Church in Ranger. Burial: Merriman Cemetery, Ranger. Visitation: (open) Monday at Greenwood Funeral Home and Tuesday at Edwards Funeral Home in Ranger.

James N. Casey was born June 24, 1914, in Leroy. He was a resident of White Settlement for over 57 years. He retired from Bell Helicopter and enjoyed playing the fiddle, guitar and other instruments.

James was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Casey; and daughter, Jane Casey Pierce.

Survivors: Children, James Wesley Casey of Granbury, Jerry Wayne Casey of Azle and Judy Casey Brickey of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Garel, Vickie and Justin Pierce, David Wayne Casey, Kelly, Kristy and James Casey, Sheri Dawn Brickey, Daniel and Sheila Brickey, Kim Thomas and Karen Wall; eight great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Casey of Fort Worth; and his dog, Sugar.
