Fort Worth, Texas - Robert Leo Bray, 83, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2023, in Fort Worth.
Service: 12 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2023, in Greenwood Chapel. Entombment: Greenwood Mausoleum. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Greenwood.

Bob was born in St. Louis, Mo., and grew up in Cahokia, Illinois. He graduated from Cahokia Common Fields High School in Cahokia, IL and Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, IL. He loved music and was a proud member of the high school band and later formed his own orchestra.
Bob and his family relocated to Benbrook, Texas in 1980, where he spent the remainder of his life. He was a member of The Church at Benbrook.
Bob was a Cost Analyst for McDonnell Douglas and Lockheed Martin where he retired.
He served as a Deacon for Emmanuel Baptist Church in Cahokia, IL and was a true servant of God and a volunteer in every Church he and Judy attended. Bob was a man of many hobbies and collections. He enjoyed model railroading, collecting coins, stamps and circus memorabilia. He also was an amateur photographer.
Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Judy; parents, Melvina and Henry Bray; and brothers, Lawrence and Donald Bray.
Survivors: Daughter, Terri Cook (Steve) of Fort Worth; son, Michael Bray (Karen) of Carrollton; grandsons, Jared Cook (Eva) of Fort Worth, Andrew Bray (Elissa) of Leesburg, Va., and Jacob Bray of Carrollton; granddaughter, Nicole Cook of Fort Worth; brother, Stanley Bray (Barb) of Cahokia IL; and many nieces and nephews.
