Clara Ann Morgan

MORGAN Clara Ann (Humphries) Morgan, age 82, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2010, at Mount Carmel East Hospital with her daughters by her side. She was born in Columbus on September 17, 1927, to the late John and Eleanor Humphries. Clara was a longtime member of Christ the King Catholic Church, and her faith was of greatest importance to her. She dedicated her life to the care and happiness of her husband of 62 years William F. Morgan Sr. who preceded her in death on October 7, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her brother Bob Humphries. She is survived by her children, William F. (Lori) Morgan Jr. of Florida, Wanda (Mark) McBane, and Pamela Churches; brother, John Humphries; lifelong friends, Marge Weeks and Josephine Leidinger; special friend and sister-in-law, Shirley Morgan Greene; and many grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Clara was a simple woman who needed nothing but her family and her faith. She was an involved mother, leading Brownies, Girl Scouts, and Cub Scouts Troops. She also greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, February 14, 2010, at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum, 11539 National Road SW, Pataskala.
