James Franklin Obituary

Franklin, II James Edward Franklin II, passed away on September 22, 2015. In addition to his loving mother Wanda J. (Leath) Franklin, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Aaron and Loretta Leath and two uncles Wendell and Harold Leath and a paternal uncle Dr. Benjamin Franklin. Those left to cherish his memory are his father, James E. Franklin, I; grandparents, Robert and Ineater Franklin (Lawtey, FL); maternal aunt, Sabrina Leath-Morrison (Bluefield, WV); paternal aunts, Helen Smith (Jerome) (Florida/Ohio), Benita Saunders (Fleming Island, FL), Stephanie Franklin (Lakeland, FL); paternal uncles, Sylvester Franklin (Daly City, CA), Dr. Henry L. Franklin (Dimenta) (Walterboro, SC), Dr. Anthony Franklin (Deidra) (Fleming Island, FL); maternal uncles, Andre' Leath (Orange Park, FL) and Michael Leath (Accokeek, MD). Little James, as he was affectionately known, will also be missed greatly by Miss Ruby Redd who he considered his "second" mother. He will also be missed by a host of cousins and friends. A celebration of Little James' life will happen on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43213 from 2-3 p.m.
