James Hayslip Obituary

HAYSLIP James W. Hayslip Jr., age 76, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011 at home. Retired from Jeffrey Manufacturing. Served in United States Marine Corps. Member of Demorest Road American Legion Post. Preceded in death by parents James W. Hayslip Sr. and Rose Robinson Hayslip, step-mother Maysel E. Hayslip, step-brother Leroy Davis, son James W. Hayslip, granddaughters Crystal Richmond and Sarah Chapman. Survived by loving companion, Janet S. Quigley; children, Anna (Chuck) Pierson, Karen Hodge, Helen Chapman, Patty (Jim) Kocher, James and Harold Hayslip and Bill (Linda) Hayslip; sister, Jenny Adams; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Friends may call at O. R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 255 E. State St., Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Chaplin Carmen Seibold officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery. Family suggests contribution may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice in James' Memory. www.orwoodyard.com
