James Stem Obituary
James Wesley Stem, age 46 of Murfreesboro, passed away on August 11, 2011 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center.
He was a native and lifelong residence of Rutherford County and worked for Haverty's Furniture.
James was preceded in death by his father, Howard Pete Stem.
He is survived by his mother, Martha W. Stem; companion, Karen Duncan of Murfreesboro; step-daughter, Tammy Alexander of Murfreesboro; brother, Howard Buster Stem of Bradyville; sister, Gloria Jean Stem of Murfreesboro; two nephews, Howard Riley Stem and Jonathan Wesley Stem; and one great-niece, Madison Presley Stem.
Chapel service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 15, 2011 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Whitworth Cemetery, with family and friends serving as Active Pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2011 and again on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home; 820 South Church St., Murfreesboro, TN 37130; (615) 893-2422.
