Aaron Chavez Obituary

AARON LEE CHAVEZ September 7, 1966 - August 27, 2005 Aaron was the very proud father of Marina and Quinten. He also leaves behind his wife Shelley, father Ruben, stepfather Michael, grandmother Jane and many aunts, uncles, cousins and non-nuclear family members and friends. Aaron was a sensitive, caring, smart and funny man. His compassion for the human condition knew no boundaries. He was a great listener and helped many others who were struggling. We will miss our father, husband, friend. We know he is with us now and always and that at last his struggles are over. Aaron's memorial service will be held at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Ave. in Oakland on Saturday, September 3 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Mandana Community Recovery Center or the American Diabetes Association.
