Albina Licciani Obituary

ALBINA AND SILVANO LICCIANI After 65 years of life together, Albina and Silvano Licciani, known to their friends and family as Bina and Sil, are now at rest. Sil passed on April 29, 2006 and was followed five months later by his wife, Bina, on September 24, 2006. Together Bina and Sil experienced a life of many challenges and changes. They watched their neighborhood grow from a farming community to a bustling city center, helping to shape its' personality with their ventures that included a store and several restaurants. Bina was a seamstress and businesswoman while Sil was a proud veteran, artist, philosopher, musician and businessman. Bina and Sil shared their appreciation of simple pleasures in life and valued their friends and family above all else. Both will be missed by their son, Doug, and their many family and friends in the Bay Area, Boston, Phoenix and Italy. Services will be held for Bina and Sil on Monday, October 2, 2006 commencing 1:00 p.m. at Holy Angels Funeral and Cremation Center, 1051 Harder Rd., Hayward, CA. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hayward. Visiting hours will begin at the mortuary on Monday from 12noon until the service time.
