Richard Friedemann Obituary
He was a 1955 graduate of Strong Vincent High School and a graduate of Penn State Behrend with an associates degree in Business Administration.
Richard was employed with Bucyrus-Erie for 10 years before going to work for General Electric where he retired from as a supervisor. Following his retirement he was employed with Wegman's in the deli for 17 years.
He was involved with the Millcreek Youth Athletic Association for 20 years, commissioner of the Pony League, and was a member American Legion Post 773.
Richard was a huge Browns, Indians, and Cavs fan. He enjoyed yard work and especially spending time with his family.
In addition to his loving wife Bonnie, he is survived by a son, Jeff R. Friedemann and his wife, Ann of Erie; a daughter, Laurie L. Reesman and her husband, Jack of Erie; four grandchildren, Rachel Friedemann, Jackson Reesman, Abigail Reesman and Nicole Malinowski; his beloved dog, Levi and his close friends, Mary and Don Chludzinski.
Richard was preceded in by his parents.
Family and friends are welcome to call on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Roy P. Washill, officiating at Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle Street, Erie, PA.

I am sorry to hear of Dicks passing. I work at the service desk at Wegmans and Dick was a familiar face for many years. Nice guy! I missed seeing him around when he retired.

I was so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I enjoyed working with him at Wegmans. He was a fun person. He and I would discuss our children and grandchildren and he certainly loved all of you. He could be a lot of fun. Many of our customers came to the deli just to see him. I missed him when he retired, but I am glad I got the chance to work with him.

I am so saddened to hear of Dick's passing. He always made me smile at work(Wegmans). My husband worked with him in the deli and Dick called him Peaches. I'm thinking of his family right now. He was truly one of the great guys;)
