So hard to say good bye to our special friend. We met Billy in Minnesota in 1972 and became best friends; we started our families together and as fate would have it, after he returned to NC, we were transferred to Ft. Bragg. At that time we got to know the entire family and became one of them. Our friendship continued forever.
I didn't get to tell Billy that I was following in his footsteps ( with dialysis and transplanted kidney) but I know now he will be watching and helping me get through. God bless Aisha and Billy D.and the rest of the family. Remember the Psalm: Weeping may endure for a night but JOY comes in the morning. We love you all; May God keep you in his care.
