Nicholas Kempen Obituary

Covington- Nicholas Kempen, 27, of Covington, passed away at his home on April 10, 2014.
He was born on May 1, 1986 in Watseka, Ill., the son of Stephen and Jackie (Holycross) Kempen. They both survive.
He will be deeply missed by his mother, Jackie Kempen, father, Stephen (Roberta) Kempen, brother, Christopher (Lee) Kempen, one niece, Lauryn Kempen and one nephew, Cruze Kempen.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Nick enjoyed architectural design, computers, fishing, music, sports, especially basketball, and loved his family. He volunteered whenever he could at First Baptist Church in Covington.
A celebration of Nick's life will be held on Tuesday, April 15 at 10 a.m. at Sunset's Covington Chapel with Pastor Andy Harkleroad officiating. Burial will take place at Gundy Cemetery in Bismarck, Ill.
Memorials can be made in his name to the charity of the donor's choice.
