Bryce White Obituary

WHITE, Bryce - Of Davison, age 77, died Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Hurley Medical Center. A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM Saturday, May 12, 2007at Hansen Funeral Home, 421 N. Main St., Downtown Davison, Rev. T. Bradley Terhune officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 1-4 and 6-9 PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Richfield United Methodist Church or Davison OES Lodge #299. Bryce was born in Hazelton Township on March 6, 1930, the son of Earl and Eliza (Cooper) White. He was joined in marriage to Alice M. Buckler on January 5, 1952, Mt Clemens, Michigan. Answering the call of his country, Bryce served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Mr. White was a member of Richfield United Methodist Church, Past Master of Davison Masonic Lodge #236 F&AM, and Past Patron of Davison Order of Eastern Stars Chapter #299, Bryce also was Vice President of Genesee County Order of Eastern Stars. He had been employed by General Motors for over 34 years retiring in 1988. He is survived by: his devoted wife, Alice; children; Bryce M. (Cindy) of Davison, Alice J. of Battle Creek, and DuWayne S. (Karen) of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Michael, Crystal, Sean White and Katherine Panos; great-grandson, Adrien; niece, Susan (Frank) Vyscocil and family; nephew, Richard (Mary Jo) White and family; special friends, Jim and Betty Barnett. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother and sister-in-law, Lyle and Mary White.
