I traveled with Don and others to Central America doing construction in missions work. Dons physical work and spiritual work not only blessed us but untold numbers of people. Dons favorite time was prayer and worship and he was my mentor in that. Don(Betty) your lives blessed my soul. Mike Murdaugh Sr.

Don and Betty lived in my neighborhood. Betty bragged on how pretty my flowers were. Don would comment that on such and such a day he hadn't seen me walk the kids to school. How did Don know when I walked the kids to school??? My family and I would walk the neighborhood, and so did Don for years. We'd stop to shake hands and laugh about what dogs had chased us. When my husband died in an accident, Don was so sad and always so concerned for the kids and I. He never knew, over the years, how much I needed those Hugs, and I Love You's and prayers he said over me. And I'll be sure to tell him when I see him again in Heaven, gonna miss you Don. Sincere condolences to the family. Lisa(Yoder)Peters.

Barb and I were privileged to know Don over many years. We shared small group in their home and witnessed Don's example of serving his Lord faithfully. Don would be very serious when it came to spiritual issues yet he loved to demonstrate his sense of humor among friends. I valued my time of knowing Don and trust we can all carry on his legacy of loving and serving our Heavenly Father.

Don was a great man an example to all of how to live our lives. He was my friend and mentor and will be missed, but Glory to God in the Highest for Don and may he walk the Streets of Gold with Betty as they spend eternity walking with Jesus in Heaven in Peace and Love. My all who loved Don find peace in God.

Don was an awesome person, kind and thoughtful. On this earth, he will be truly missed and as for him he is rejoicing with God and others that have gone before him in the streets of Gold. What can be more awesome for him than that.

Don was a great prayer warrior and friend. He prayed for me and my family often. Don also loved Jesus and loved to share the message of hope. He reminded me so much of my grandfather who loved God's word and took the time to teach it to others. We pray for comfort and peace for the family. Blessings to your family.

I'm one of Don's trophies to Jesus. When Don passed, I lost something in me too. He always checked up on me, by phone or in person. Don's first question to me was; "are you (me) behaveing? I'll miss Don dearly along with 100's of other people he converted. Between Don and Betty, they were the most pleasant and knowledgeable people I have ever known. Don was my brother and my adopted dad. God Bless Don's family and my sorrow and prayers are sincerely with them.

What a man of God and what a man of prayer. Our lives are rich with children, a new job and health in part to Don's prayers. He and Betty were such encouragers. Thank you Don for your faithful life as a true disciple of Christ. I know you are enjoying your heavenly reward. You will be missed and your memory treasured. Thank you also for holding our nephew at the altar during his baby dedication. Now a high school student, he wants to be a youth pastor. Your prayers were answered again and again.

We will miss you Uncle Don! Your love for our Lord was so genuine and such an encouragement. I remember shortly after I was baptized in 1997, you and Betty asked if you could pray with us. The four of us stood in a circle outside our house, held hands, and you prayed for strength for me as a new Christian, husband, and father. We will never forget your wisdom and the love you so freely gave...and of course, your smile! We will see you and Betty again. May you find peace, resting in the arms of Jesus.

Priscilla, Sandra, & Laura,
Love to you and we'll pray for peace and comfort for you and your family.

We were surprised and saddened to learn of Uncle Donald's death. We had no idea that our 2013 Pfeiffer Family Reunion was to be the last one that we would share with him. We will miss his smile, his pleasant and saintly demeanor and the heart felt blessing that he would give at the opening of the gathering. Although he is no longer physically among us his spirit will always be with us. We were blessed to have had him in the family.

To his brothers, sisters and daughters, you are in our thoughts and prayers,
Audrey and Donald Pfeiffer.
