Paul Gross Obituary
September 1, 1955 - November 29, 2023
Fresno, California - Paul Michael Gross passed away on Nov. 29 at the age of 68. When he was 8, Paul was introduced to Magic and it became his lifelong passion. After years of practice and performing he opened Wizards Magic shop at age 18. Several years later when his father became ill, he closed Wizards to run La-Z-Boy Showcase Shop. He married Betty Selvian in 1991 and together they opened Fat Paulie's Sandwiches. After 5 years, Paul returned to magic and opened Hocus Pocus Magic Shop. The business started as a walk in retail and grew to be an internet website that now ships all around the world. Paul was a lifetime member of the Magic Castle in Hollywood. He enjoyed spending weekends in the yard gardening and time with family and friends. He was a loving family man and leaves behind his wife, 4 children and 7 grandchildren, mother and sister. He will be missed by all. We are having a celebration of life at Pardini's on Dec. 30 at 11:00. Memorial donations can be made to Nancy Hinds Hospice.
