EZEKIEL ROLLINS Obituary
Elder Ezekiel M. Rollins, age 85, Retired Pastor of Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church (Gainesville, FL) where he pastored for 34 Years and Mount Zion Primitive Baptist Church (Eustis, FL) where he pastored for 31 Years, US Army Veteran of the Korean War surrendered to the will of God on Sunday, April 10, 2016, at his residence (Gainesville, Florida).
On Friday, April 15, 2016, Elder Rollins will be viewed 5:00-6:30PM - And the Homegoing Celebration will immediately follow (at 6:30PM) at Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church (Gainesville, FL) where Destin L. Williams is Pastor, with Elder Ronald Foxx as Eulogist.
Arrangements Entrusted To: DUNCAN BROTHERS' FUNERAL HOME, 428 NW 8 Street, Gainesville, FL.
On Saturday, April 16, 2016, Elder Rollins will be viewed 12:00PM - And the Homegoing Celebration (with Military Honors) will immediately follow (at 1:00PM) at Old West Enrichment Center (Tallahassee, FL) with Elder Kenneth Duke (Vice President of the National Primitive Baptist Convention) as Eulogist. The Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Elder Rollins is immediately survived by his wife (of 54 years) - Mary Janie Smith Rollins; daughter - Mildred Black; sons - Major Rollins (& Gwendolyn), Gregory Rollins (& Deadre'), Jeffrey Rollins (& Genefer), Cory Rollins, Charles Rollins (& Celine).

To the Rollins Family, we know that Elder Rollins was a God sent Man of God who blessed the Mount Zion Primitive Baptist Church with many years of his spiritual guidance. As we often came to visit the church, we would always have heart warming conversations with him and he would bless us with words of wisdom. Know that his lifetime of Ministry was a blessing to all. We take this opportunity to express our love and support to Mother Janie Rollins and the rest of the family as you mourn the Elder Ezekiel Rollins. I had the pleasure of working very closely with him especially during his tenure as Vice Moderator of the East FL District Primitive Baptist Association of which I served as General Secretary. We worked very well together and had a deep respect for each other. Elder Rollins was a gentle man as well as a perfect gentleman. We shall especially miss his wisdom, which he shared with all of us in East FL. My wife and I lift Mo. Rollins and the others up in prayer. Be blessed!!!
