EPPS, JOAN ANNIE SILCOX, 73



Starke - July 10, 2007: Mrs. Joan Annie Silcox Epps 73, of Starke passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday afternoon after an extended illness. She was born in Starke where she has lived most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Lacy B. Silcox and Gladys Crawford Silcox. She retired from Bradford County Clerks office in 1990, where she was a deputy clerk for many years. She also formally worked at the USP & FO Warehouse at Camp Blanding. She loved spending time with her family, playing the piano , singing in the choir and church work. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Starke. Mrs. Epps was preceded in death by 2 grandsons, Adam & Aaron Barber.



She is survived by her husband of 53 years: Harold W. Epps of Starke 1 Daughter; Angela Melissa Dixon of Green Cove Springs son Bobby Harold Epps of Gadsden, Alabama. 6 Grandchildren: Wesley Mann; Jessica Epps; Andrew Barber; Savannah Epps; Spencer Dixon; and Chrissy Barber.



Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 A.M. in the First Baptist Church of Starke with the Rev. Robert Dennison officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsley Lake Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home of Lake Butler. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday evening.
