Clara Dagenhart Obituary

MOUNT HOLLY - Clara Mae Williams Dagenhart, 85, of 224 Jenkins St., died April 14, 2008, at Gaston Memorial Hospital in Gastonia.

Born in Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Eathel Crump Williams.

She was a retired accounting clerk and a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.

She was wife of the late Olin Charles Dagenhart Sr. and was preceded in death by two brothers, J.C. Williams and Grady Williams; one sister, Blondina Head; and one grandson, Michael Dagenhart.

Survivors include one son, Olin Charles "Pat" Dagenhart Jr. and wife, Phyllis of Ruther Glen, Va.; two sisters-in-law, Gloria Williams of Mount Holly and Mary Lou Williams of Gastonia; former daughter-in-law, Akemi Hohenstein of Ruther Glen, Va.; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five great-stepgrandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Dagenhart will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Anderson officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 110 South Main Street, Mount Holly, NC 28120.
