Barbara Wenning Obituary
She was born in Hamilton Ohio on April 5,1931 and was the daughter of Ace and Sarah (Bishop) Cowan. She was a homemaker and mother and excelled at these vocations. She also was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling.
On June 14, 1958 in Hamilton Ohio, she married Richard Wenning. She is survived by her husband Richard and her two daughters, Tina and Sonja Wenning, both of Colorado Springs. Also survived by a sister, Sandra Piazza of Hamilton Ohio.
She was loved and will be very much missed by her husband and her daughters.
Visitation will be held at the Cappadona Funeral Home, 1020 E. Fillmore St. on Monday, October 21, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
A private "grave side" service will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m at Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to:
Pikes Peak Hospice Foundations, 2550 Tenderfoot Hill St, Colorado Springs, CO 80906.

Dear Tina, Sonja, and Mr. Wenning I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughs and prayers are with you. Mrs. Wenning always had a smile for us throughout the years and was one of the best ladies I ever had the pleasure to know. I will never forget how your family included me in the "Good Sam's" camping trip and how we all danced!
