Marc Donnelly Obituary

CUMMINGTON- Marc Donnelly, 47, of Cummington, died Saturday morning, Sept. 22, 2012, at The Fisher Home in Amherst after a 13 day stay at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton.

Marc was predeceased by his mother, Betty Drake Donnelly.

He was the beloved brother of Linda Streeter of Cummington and Judith Wallace of Bristol, Conn. He also leaves behind his nephews, Alan Streeter of Cummington, Thomas Streeter of Roy, Wash. and Randy Wallace of Wallingford, Conn.; his nieces, Carrie Cranston of Ashfield, Angelia Zarra of Cheshire, Conn., Tracey Hussey of Lebanon, Conn. and Christina Wallace of Bristol, Conn. Marc had 17 grandnieces and nephews and hundreds of friends.

Marc was born July 31, 1965, in Houlton, Maine, and lived for 33 years in Meriden, Conn. before moving to live with his sister Linda and her husband Almond Streeter in Cummington in 2001. Marc attended ThayerCare in Hadley.

Marc never met a person he didn't like - everyone was his friend. He was the most loving and happy person. His smiles and giving ways will be greatly missed.

Friends are invited to a party on Oct. 14 at 1 p.m. at the Cummington Community House, Main St., Cummington, to celebrate Marc's life.

So Sorry for your loss. Marc was a very special boy.He and his mom Betty lived in my grandmothers apartment house for years then moved across the street. I remember summer days we would go to Lake coundpounce and ride the train. Always smiling and laughing. Again very sorry to hear of his passing.
