Alexander McKenzie Obituary

McKENZIE — Alexander "Sandy" D. McKenzie, aged 65, of Ada, died Sunday, June 1, 2003. He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey. He is survived by his wife, Judy; sons, Mark (Mary) McKenzie of Cedar Springs, Richard McKenzie of Ada; brother, Samuel McKenzie of Cascade; grandchildren, Megan, Michelle, Allison, Luke, Leslie and Nicky; brothers and sisters-in-law, Helen Lebeck, Roger (Jean) Lebeck, LaVon (Andrew) Hahn, Linda (Mike) Keyes; several nieces and nephews. Sandy enjoyed very much his job of 36 years as a letter carrier for the post office in the East Grand Rapids area. Funeral services will be Thursday 1 PM at the O'Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Rev. Gary Burdick of Ada Congregational Church, officiating. Interment Findlay Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to ALS Association (Lou Gerhig's Disease), 678 Front St. NW, Suite 232, Grand Rapids, MI 49504-5310. wwww.gerstfuneralhomes.com
