WILMINGTON — Blanche I. Reeder Leming, age 92, of Wilmington, OH, died Sunday, May 11, 2014 in Wilmington, OH. She was born May 30, 1921 in New Burlington, OH, daughter of the late George William Evans and Hattie Catherine Scroggy Evans. Blanche was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), the Rebecca Lodge, and had worked at G. C. Murphy and WalMart in Wilmington. She was also the former Clerk of Port William and was a member of the Clinton County Senior Citizens. Surviving are two sons, George William (Elizabeth) Reeder of Clarksville, Kenneth A. (Tammy) Reeder, of Jamestown, 25 grandchildren, 50 Great Grandchildren, 27 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Blanche was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Reeder, second husband, Earl Leming, 5 children, Edward Reeder, Edith Britton, Everett Reeder, Linda Reeder, and Sharon Reeder. She was also preceeded by 2 sisters, Edna and Maryanna, and 2 brothers, Carl and Homer, and a great grandson, Brad Reeder. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, at with Dr. Tom Stephenson officiating. Interment will follow in the New Burlington Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Contributions may be made to the 1st Christian Church, Disciples of Christ or the Activity Fund at the Wilmington Nursing and Rehab Center. Blanche was my favorite resident and I will miss going in to visit her. She was a very special person to me, When I was able to visit her she would always tell me I need to come back My condolences to her family,
