Karan Basetine Norton, 68, of Chuckey, died Sunday at Greeneville, Community Hospital East.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and a friend to everyone.
Survivors include by her husband: Bill Norton; two daughters: Tanya Morris and her baby girl, Annie Marie Jennings; one son: Jeremy Williams; 13 grandchildren: Rodney and Brianna Ramsey, Brooklyn and Aaron Jones, Lucas and Cassi Riddle, Chelsea Jennings and Seth Cordwell, Chasity Williams, Taylor Williams, Tyson Williams, Austin Morris, Jayden, Bryce and Braylen Freshour, and Brayden and Bentley Williams; five great-grandchildren: Hudson Ramsey, Emberlyn Riddle, Wyatt and Declan Jones, and Haevyn Cordwell; a sister and brother-in-law: Mary and Mike Looney; two brothers: Robert Landers and Tony Landers; several nieces and nephews; special neighbors and friends, Millie Hillsamer Ingle, Georgie Morelock, Tosha Church and June Landers; and many other friends and loved ones who meant the world to her.
Mrs. Norton was preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Leona Landers; a son: Robert Williams; and a sister: Flo Landers.
A celebration graveside service will be Jan. 28 at 1:30 p.m. in Union Chapel Cemetery. Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.
